As he concludes his tenure as President of the Truckload Carriers Association, the outgoing leader leaves with a message defined by gratitude, confidence, and optimism for the future of the organization.

In his closing remarks, he said it had been a privilege to work alongside an exceptional group of leaders and staff members who care deeply about the trucking industry and the people who keep it moving every day.
He expressed appreciation for the association’s officers and Board of Directors, crediting their leadership and thoughtful guidance for helping position TCA to continue advancing policies, practices, and partnerships that support carriers of all sizes.

He also highlighted the dedication of the TCA staff, noting that their professionalism and commitment are what bring the association’s mission to life on a daily basis.
Most notably, the outgoing president reserved special thanks for TCA’s members, calling their engagement the foundation of everything the organization does. Their willingness to participate, share their perspectives, and advocate for the industry has enabled TCA to remain a strong collective voice for the truckload sector.
As the association looks ahead, he encouraged members to remain active and continue contributing to the conversations shaping the future of the industry. He stressed that member participation will remain essential to preserving the strength and relevance of the organization.
He also noted that he had the opportunity to work closely with incoming President Jim Mullen to help ensure a smooth leadership transition. Leaving the position, he said he is confident the association is in excellent hands. According to him, Mullen’s experience, perspective, and commitment to member engagement will serve TCA well in the years ahead.
In closing, he described serving as president as one of the greatest honors of his career. He thanked members for their trust, partnership, and commitment to the trucking industry, adding that he looks forward to staying connected and seeing many of them again at future TCA events.
