APTA staff were proud to attend the 2025 Advancing Women in Trucking Conference, hosted by the Trucking Human Resource Sector Council Atlantic. It was an inspiring day dedicated to celebrating the remarkable women who continue to drive the trucking industry forward across Atlantic Canada.

Women from every corner of the region are raising their voices, owning their stories, and shaping the future of the industry — whether behind the wheel, in operations, or in leadership positions. The conference showcased the strength, resilience, and influence of women who are transforming the sector.

APTA extends heartfelt congratulations to Jillian Snow of Classic Freight Systems, recipient of the 2025 Rising Star Award. Warm congratulations as well to the Women Who Inspire Award winners:

Billie-Jo Rees-McKenzie, Armour Transportation

Ravneet Khroud, Eassons Transport

Colleen O’Toole, Lighthouse Transportation

Their leadership, passion, and unwavering drive continue to strengthen the industry and inspire progress toward a more inclusive future.

APTA also thanks THRSC Atlantic for hosting another outstanding event highlighting the critical role of women in trucking.
