Caledon, Ontario – Members of the Caledon detachment of the Ontario Provincial Police (#CaledonOPP) are continuing their commitment to road safety by performing ongoing Commercial Motor Vehicle (CMV) inspections across the Town of Caledon.

A recent enforcement initiative on Highway 9 resulted in multiple charges, including:

• Speeding

• Insecure load

• Driving a motor vehicle without a licence

• No insurance

• Invalid plates

Additional CMV-related offences were also reported. These enforcement efforts aim to ensure that all commercial vehicles operating in the region are compliant with safety standards and help prevent collisions and road hazards.

The OPP reminds all commercial drivers and carriers to prioritize vehicle maintenance and road safety practices at all times.
