Deadhorse, AK — Carlile Transportation was proudly recognized during the recent Alaska Energy Rally, organized by the Alaska Support Industry Alliance, for its essential role in sustaining Arctic operations. Held at Pump Station 1 (PS1) on the North Slope, the rally brought together key government officials, energy leaders, and media representatives to emphasize the importance of Alaska’s energy sector.

As part of the event, a high-profile delegation—including the U.S. Secretary of the Interior, EPA Administrator, Alliance CEO Rebecca Logan, and several national and international journalists—toured facilities across Deadhorse. Carlile had the honor of hosting a portion of the group, providing a rare inside look at the logistics behind Arctic freight operations and the enduring legacy of Ice Road Trucking.

“This visit was a chance to showcase the critical role Carlile plays in supporting Alaska’s energy infrastructure—from winter ice roads to year-round logistics that keep the North Slope moving,” said Christen Van Treeck-Dwiggins, Senior Vice President of Operations.

Carlile’s participation highlighted the indispensable contributions of logistics providers to the state’s energy sector, as well as the resilience and professionalism of the teams working in some of the harshest conditions on the planet.
