Vaughan, August 28, 2025 – The local community association is sounding the alarm after residents reported construction activity that appears to involve the creation of two new driveways on a
located between 12001 and 12151 Albion Vaughan Road.

The Concerned Citizens of Rural South Albion (CCRSA) confirmed that a formal by-law complaint was filed yesterday regarding the suspected driveway construction. At this time, it remains unclear whether the property owner holds a valid permit for the work.
The development has triggered heightened concern among residents, given that several nearby properties have previously been prepared for illegal truck yards. The CCRSA says this raises red flags about potential land use violations.

The association is now urging residents to remain vigilant. Community members are asked to immediately report any additional activity on the site – including dirt movement, gravel deliveries, or the creation of berms – to Vaughan’s By-law Services by calling 905-832-2281 or emailing bylaw@vaughan.ca.
“We can’t afford to see another illegal truck yard set up in our backyards,” a CCRSA spokesperson emphasized. “It’s vital that everyone keep watch and document any new developments.”
The CCRSA has committed to providing updates as soon as responses are received from municipal authorities.
