CVSA Announces New Leadership for 2025-2026

Denver, Colorado – October 1, 2025 — The Commercial Vehicle Safety Alliance (CVSA) has officially transitioned into new leadership for the 2025-2026 term during its Annual Conference and Exhibition in Denver.
Maj. Erick McGuire of the Florida Highway Patrol is now president of the Alliance, succeeding Capt. John Hahn of the Colorado State Patrol, who moves into the past president role. Sgt. William “Bill” Alarcon with the New Jersey State Police has been named vice president.
Members also elected Tpr. Robert “Beau” Wittkowski of the Iowa State Patrol as secretary. His six-year leadership track will see him move through the roles of secretary, vice president, president, and past president.
Regional and Committee Leadership
The new regional presidents include:
• Lt. Abraham Rosario (Connecticut DMV) – Region I
• Capt. Virgil Verduzco (Texas DPS) – Region II
• Lt. Christopher Keller (Michigan State Police) – Region III
• Richard Robinson (Ontario MTO) – Region V
Regional vice presidents include Sgt. Chris Rogers (Maine State Police) and Richard Roberts(British Columbia MOTI).
Committee updates include:
• Sgt. Zachary Hamilton (Michigan State Police) as chair of the Inspector Memorial Program.
• Jessica Davis (Utah DOT) as chair of the Audits and Investigations Committee.
• Keith Kerns (Ohio PUC) as chair of the Training Committee.
• Ofc. Christopher Vinson (Midlothian, TX PD) as chair of the Vehicle Committee.
Honoring Outgoing Leaders
The Alliance extended its gratitude to outgoing leaders such as F/Sgt. Travis Ingold (North Carolina State Highway Patrol), Krista Cull (Newfoundland and Labrador), and Tom Mrozinski (Frisco PD) for their dedication to improving commercial vehicle safety across North America.
