Day & Ross proudly announces the opening of its new 96,000-square-foot terminal in Winnipeg, Manitoba. Featuring 77 dock doors and uniting all local operations under one roof, the state-of-the-art facility establishes a larger, more efficient hub in a critical North American gateway.
Strategically located in the heart of the continent, the new terminal enhances Day & Ross’s ability to move freight seamlessly across Canada and the United States. Through its exclusive partnership with R+L Carriers, one of the largest LTL providers in the U.S., the facility strengthens cross-border capabilities and ensures faster, more reliable connections throughout North America.
“This new terminal represents a major investment in our future and in the customers who rely on us every day,” said Bill Doherty, CEO of Day & Ross. “By consolidating our Winnipeg operations and expanding capacity, we’re improving reliability, efficiency, and supporting our continued North American growth.”
The terminal supports a full suite of transportation services — LTL, Truckload, Home Delivery, and Dedicated Fleet Solutions — with advanced systems designed to improve freight handling and visibility. Sustainability was also front of mind, with energy-efficient lighting, optimized traffic flow, and modern technologies minimizing environmental impact.
This milestone comes as Day & Ross celebrates its 75th anniversary, underscoring a long-standing commitment to service, innovation, and sustainable growth across North America.
