Bolton (Caledon), October 21, 2025 — Groupe Morneau has officially inaugurated its new Bolton terminal, marking a major step forward in its pan-Canadian growth and strengthening its strategic presence in Ontario and Eastern Canada.
Located along a key logistics corridor, the state-of-the-art facility brings together the company’s three divisions under one roof — Morneau GEO (general LTL-TL transport), Morneau BOREA (refrigerated transport and warehousing), and Morneau GLOBAL (logistics and brokerage). Over 200 employees ensure seamless daily operations and high-quality customer service.
From leasing to ownership: a long-term commitment
The Bolton site began operations in April 2024 under a lease agreement. A year later, Groupe Morneau became the property’s official owner — a strong statement of its long-term commitment to Caledon and Ontario’s key role in its growth strategy.
People at the heart of success
Building on years of steady expansion in Ontario — including the acquisitions of Beacon (2019) and General Cartage (2021) — the company credits its success to its dedicated employees.
“Our people are the true drivers of our success. Their commitment and teamwork allow us to keep moving forward,” said Catherine Morneau.
A modern and efficient facility
The new 80,000 sq. ft. terminal features 51 dock doors, dedicated zones for each division, and a layout designed for safety, sustainability, and performance. This strategic investment enhances Morneau’s logistics capacity and reduces transit times between major Canadian markets.
A memorable grand opening
More than 150 guests — including local partners, clients, and officials — attended the opening ceremony. Mayor Annette Groves presented a certificate of recognition from the Town of Caledon, celebrating Morneau’s economic contribution and job creation.
Iconic trucks were showcased outside, including “The Big Blue” race truck from TEAM42, vintage Morneau vehicles, and the 80th-anniversary trailer illustrated by artist Fluke. Guests also toured the facility and enjoyed a photo exhibit retracing the company’s 80-year journey.
Each guest left with a pair of Morneau socks, created in collaboration with Robin des Bas, who donates a pair to someone in need for every pair sold — a gesture symbolizing Morneau’s human-centered values.
