Garden Grove, California — October 21, 2025.
Harbinger, a leading medium-duty electric and hybrid vehicle manufacturer, announced today that its medium-duty electric and hybrid-electric trucks are now available for purchase across all Canadian provinces and territories. Orders are being accepted through its Canadian dealer Safetek Specialty Vehicles, as the company focuses on expanding its dealer network nationwide.
Built on Harbinger’s proprietary electric vehicle chassis, the platform supports a variety of applications including walk-in vans, box trucks, delivery vehicles, RVs, and emergency response vehicles. The first Harbinger vehicles available in Canada will be electric step vans, with additional variants to follow soon.
Trucks remain the fastest-growing segment in Canada’s EV market, currently valued at CAD 15.8 billion (2024) and projected to reach CAD 40.8 billion by 2030. The overall Canadian commercial vehicle market is valued at CAD 23.7 billion.
“Industry reception to Harbinger vehicles has been incredibly strong,” the company said. “Canadian fleets are eager for durable, cost-effective EV solutions built specifically for commercial use.”
Harbinger’s entry into the Canadian market marks a major milestone in its mission to accelerate the electrification of medium-duty transportation across North America.
