Tokyo, June 11, 2025 — In a landmark announcement for the commercial vehicle industry, Toyota Motor Corporation and Daimler Truck AG confirmed the signing of business integration agreements to merge Hino Motors and Mitsubishi Fuso Truck and Bus Corporation under a newly formed holding company.

The agreement, signed today in Tokyo by the four CEOs, outlines a vision to create a unified Japanese truck company built on trust, collaboration, and two iconic brands. It will be co-owned by Toyota and Daimler Truck, each holding a 25% equity share, and will be listed on the Tokyo Stock Exchange.
