Position Summary

We are currently seeking a skilled and certified Truck and Trailer Technician (310T) to join our maintenance team in Ayr, Ontario. The ideal candidate is reliable, safety-focused, and capable of working independently on a variety of equipment and repairs.

Responsibilities:

• Perform preventative maintenance (PMs), annual vehicle inspections (AVIs), and a variety of repairs on company trucks and trailers

• Road test vehicles as needed

• Diagnose issues and complete detailed work orders using computer systems

• Complete inspection sheets and documentation for each job

• Ensure accurate parts usage and daily tracking

• Conduct safety inspections and ensure all equipment meets compliance standards

• Communicate effectively with operations and supervisory staff on equipment status

• Prioritize tasks and follow all health and safety protocols

• Adhere to company policies and shop procedures

• Perform additional related duties as assigned

Qualifications:

• 310T Technician Certification (required)

• Own tools in good working condition (required)

• Valid Class G driver’s license

• Strong mechanical skills and ability to work with minimal supervision

• Experience with computer systems for logging and managing work orders

• Strong attention to detail and commitment to workplace safety
