Living the Dream: André Lapointe from GLOBOCAM Becomes a Pro Baseball Player for a Week

André Lapointe had always dreamed of playing in the MLB. Thanks to GLOBOCAM and its Rêve de vieprogram, that dream came true.

This one-of-a-kind employee initiative allows team members to bring a lifelong dream to life. For André, that meant training like a pro, playing like a pro, and even signing a Red Sox contract—all during one incredible week at the Red Sox Fantasy Camp in Florida.

He practiced on official Red Sox fields, accessed their training facilities and locker rooms, received medical treatment before and after games, and played two games a day—side by side with over 30 former MLB players, including World Series champions and three former Montreal Expos.
