Halifax, NS, November 3, 2025 — The Atlantic Provinces Trucking Association (APTA) wrapped up its Annual General Meeting and Conference in Halifax by extending heartfelt thanks to Maryse Doucet, P.Eng., FEC, MBA, who concludes her term as Chair.


Over the past two years, Maryse has led the Association through a period of renewal and progress, advancing key advocacy priorities on Driver Inc., tariff relief, and trade barriers, while helping to lay the groundwork for APTA’s new strategic plan and long-term direction.


Her professionalism, commitment, and steady leadership have been instrumental in uniting members and strengthening collaboration across Atlantic Canada’s trucking sector.


“Maryse has led with dedication and resolve, balancing her professional responsibilities while giving selflessly to APTA. Her ability to bring people together and drive results has been a true credit to our industry,” said the APTA Board.


The Association and its members express their deep appreciation for her outstanding leadership and contribution to the growth and unity of Atlantic Canada’s trucking community.
