Mobile Inspectors Conduct MEET Detail on US85 Between Torrington and Cheyenne

Today, our Mobile Inspectors carried out a Mobile Education and Enforcement Team (MEET) detail on US85, covering the stretch between Torrington and Cheyenne. During the operation, the team contacted over two dozen drivers, engaging with commercial vehicle operators to ensure compliance with safety regulations.

Out of the seven inspections conducted, one driver and a tractor-trailer were placed out of service due to safety concerns. This action underscores our commitment to maintaining safe roadways for all travelers.

In the coming weeks, our teams will continue conducting roadside details at various locations across the state. We encourage all drivers and fleet operators to double-check their logs and ensure their vehicles are in top working condition. Together, we can help keep our highways safe and secure for everyone.
