Sarnia, September 24, 2025 – At approximately 12:30 p.m., the Sarnia Police Service received a call regarding a tractor-trailer that had struck the garden bed inside the roundabout at Cathcart Boulevard and Indian Road North.
While heading westbound through the roundabout, the truck collided with several large armour stones, dragging them westbound along Cathcart Boulevard before stopping near the intersection with Colborne Road. The trailer sustained significant damage in the incident.
City Works personnel responded quickly to clean up the roundabout and remove the rocks scattered across the roadway.
Upon further investigation, officers learned that the trailer and licence plate had been reported stolen out of Peel Region on September 6, 2025.
Two men, Ali Muhammad (27, Nobleton, Ont.) and Khurran Muhammad (49, Mississauga, Ont.), were arrested and face criminal charges for Possession of Property Obtained by Crime, as well as several traffic and bylaw-related charges under the Provincial Offences Act.
