Tragic Shooting at Virginia Truck Stop: Truck Driver Killed, Two Deputies Injured

A tragic shootout took place at a Love’s Truck Stop in Lambsburg, Virginia, just north of Greensboro, NC.

Authorities say sheriff’s deputies were attempting to approach a wanted man when gunfire broke out.

Both deputies were struck and hospitalized with non-life-threatening injuries.

The suspect, Edmond Johnson, identified as a truck driver wanted in multiple states, was killed during the exchange.
