Tunnel rehabilitation: major progress in northbound tube

The rehabilitation work in the northbound tube of the tunnel is moving forward at a steady pace. As of September 1st, several key stages of the project have already surpassed the 75% completion mark.
According to official data:
• Concrete removal from walls: 80% completed
• Concrete removal from the vault: 80% completed
• Slab demolition: 75% completed
• Removal of ventilation tower panels: 50% completed
These figures highlight the complexity of the project and confirm that work is progressing in line with the planned schedule. The Ministry of Transport emphasizes that the goal of the project is to modernize and secure this crucial infrastructure for the metropolitan road network.
