U.S. Customs and Border Protection (CBP) has issued a Federal Register notice confirming that several customs user fees will be adjusted for Fiscal Year 2026, starting October 1, 2025, under the Consolidated Omnibus Budget Reconciliation Act (COBRA).

Key changes affecting the commercial trucking sector include:

• The Commercial Truck Arrival Fee will increase from $7.20 to $7.35 USD.

• The Commercial Truck Calendar Year Prepayment Fee will increase from $130.85 to $134.33 USD.

These fees apply to CBP services only and do not include AQI-related fees collected on behalf of APHIS, such as:

AQI Commercial Truck with Transponder Fee: $808.20 USD

AQI Single Crossing Fee: $13.45 USD

Therefore, starting in FY 2026:

• The total Single Crossing Fee will be $20.80 USD

• The total Annual Transponder Fee will be $942.53 USD

These inflation-adjusted fees aim to support ongoing border and inspection operations.
