Lahti, Finland — Windrose EV Trucks has successfully completed a Megawatt Charging System (MCS) charging test based on the ISO 15118-20 standard, including TLS security functionality, at the headquarters of Kempower in Lahti, Finland.
By validating next-generation MCS communication in a European testing environment, Windrose takes a significant step toward aligning its China-developed electric heavy-duty trucks with global charging standards and intelligent charging infrastructure ecosystems.
Beyond this MCS milestone, Windrose has already conducted extensive CCS interoperability testing across multiple regions, including the United States, Sweden, Finland, and Australia, demonstrating strong compatibility with diverse charging networks worldwide.
This achievement highlights the close cooperation between Windrose and Kempower and confirms the readiness of Windrose’s electric trucks to integrate seamlessly with high-power, interoperable, and smart charging solutions for heavy-duty operations on a global scale.
Windrose will now move into the next phase of testing while further strengthening its collaboration with Kempower as part of its global expansion strategy.
