Woman Found Dead Inside Semi-Truck at Toledo Gas Station; Husband Arrested

A tragic scene unfolded in Toledo, Ohio, where police are investigating a homicide after a woman was found dead inside a semi-truck parked at a gas station on the city’s north side.

Officers responded to reports of an unresponsive person inside the truck and found the woman deceased at the scene. Investigators say the victim had visible facial injuries consistent with an assault.

Her husband, a Texas man who had been traveling with her in the semi-truck, was taken into custody at the scene and charged with felonious assault. Authorities say additional charges may follow pending the results of an autopsy and ongoing investigation.

The case remains under active investigation.
