Île-aux-Tourtes Bridge: Full closure from August 15 to 18

The Ministry of Transport and Sustainable Mobility has announced a full closure of the Île-aux-Tourtes Bridge from Friday, August 15 at 11:59 p.m. until Monday, August 18 at 5 a.m.

• Westbound: Highway 40 closed between Exit 41 and the on-ramp from Saint-Charles Avenue.

• Eastbound: Highway 40 closed between Exit 35 and the on-ramp from Boulevard des Anciens-Combattants.


Access to Chemin Senneville westbound will be maintained for local traffic. Drivers are encouraged to use Highways 20 and 30. Tolls on Highway 30 will be suspended for the entire duration of the closure.


This closure is required for the installation of support beams on the structure. Once reopened on Monday, August 18 at 5 a.m., four lanes will be available on the bridge, with two in each direction.
